In March-May 2018 the online course “Learn to Teach: Higher Education Pedagogical Technologies” was conducted by Diana Balasanyan, Doctor of Philology, Head of the International Relations Department at Yerevan Haybusak University. The course was based on the latest advances in modern pedagogical thought and included modern teaching principles based on student-centered approach. The course was designed especially for young teachers to help them to communicate effectively with students, to work with them, to create an environment free of threat of failure, and to overcome obstacles that are often faced with in educational processes in the field of higher education. The participants were actively involved in the discussion of the issues. They performed feedback tasks and clarified their concerns in order to improve their pedagogical skills. The last session was held tête-à-tête. The participants had the opportunity to get acquainted with Dr. Balasanyan and summarize the online course in a warm atmosphere.
