About us

One of the achievements of Yerevan Haybusak University is effective activity of Culture Center. This center has been created for strengthening intercultural ties between numerous- foreign and local students in the frameworks of cultural life of multinational educational institution of YHU, coordinating the various cultural events organized among university students, as well as for guiding and ensuring quality standards of implemented initiatives.
In the frameworks of the Culture Center are being implemented the following activities:
• Organization of cultural lectures, seminars, round tables with prominent, famous people
• Organization of exhibitions, concerts and performances not only in Armenia, but also abroad.
• Visits to museums, theaters, historical-cultural monuments and organization of events regarding traditional holidays of different nations and other activities with the participation of specialists of different spheres
• Supervision, monitoring, investigation, analysis and evaluation of various events organized by different subdivisions for strengthening intercultural ties
• Organization of intra-university, extra-university, inter-university cultural competitions and festivals;
• Organization of regular meetings with famous people in the world of culture, in particular sculptors, musicians, singers, directors, actors, composers and other prominent people.
• Organization of courses regarding culture and history of different countries, cultural events, lectures and traditional holidays to strengthen the intercultural ties of foreign-armenian students.
• Participation in TV programs and video shootings.

Foreign students’ visit to the History Museum of Yerevan

On 20.01 a visit to the History Museum of Yerevan was organized for a group of foreign students of Yerevan Haybusak University on the initiative of the PR and International and Cultural departments. The students were shown all the museum halls, filled with ancient scripts, artefacts, ceramics, etc… The purpose of the visit was to acquaint foreign students with the ancient history and culture of the city.

Foreign students' visit to the History Museum of Armenia

On 27.09 a visit to the History Museum of Armenia was organized for a group of foreign students of Yerevan Haybusak University on the initiative of the PR and International and Cultural departments. The purpose of the visit was to acquaint foreign students with our ancient history and culture. Because only by knowing our past and presenting it to the world with dignity we will built our future and #wewillwin

“EDUCATION XXI CENTURY” INTERNATIONAL EDUCATIONAL EXPO IS OVER

Yesterday the “Education XXI Century” international educational expo in which about 50 educational and professional institutions were presented, was over. It was organized with the support of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Armenia as well as with the support of “Inter Expo” Exhibition Company of the Center for Science and Culture of Russia in Yerevan. Like every year, this year Haybusak University participated in the exhibition with its pavilion, presenting the news of the University. At the end of the exhibition Haybusak University was awarded a certificate.

A Solo Exhibition at the Faculty of Design

A few days ago the opening of the solo exhibition of a 3rd year Design student Inna Yemelyanova’s works was held at the Roslin Design and Outfit Modelling Faculty of Haybusak University (Lecturer – Ruzanna Petrosyan).

The exhibition is dedicated to women’s month and will run until the end of April.

OPEN CLASS AT THE HOUSE-MUSEUM OF AVETIK ISAHAKYAN

Headed by teacher A. Vahanyan, the 4th-year students of the Faculty of Humanities, with the specialization of Pedagogy and Psychology, organized an open class at the house-museum of Avetik Isahakyan. The topic of the class was “Psychological Alienation”. The students presented a comparative analysis of A. Camus’ “The Stranger” and A. Isahakian’s poem “Abu-Lala Mahari”, emphasizing the characteristic features of psychological alienation according to the characters’ perceptions. The class was held by the method of academic debate. We thank Head Anzhela Khorenyan and the entire staff of the Museum for the productive class.
