Recently Haybusak University has hosted the representatives of the Warsaw Universities of Humanities, Business and Management. During the meeting a cooperation agreement was signed between the universities. The partnership will provide students the opportunity to receive double diplomas. In addition, the students and teaching staff will have a chance to participate in exchange programs, to have joint conferences, online lectures, seminars, and discussions. Rector of Haybusak Suren Harutyunyan highlighted the importance for joint study programs in the modern higher education field. “I am convinced that the cooperation with the two Warsaw universities will open a new path for us in the field of internationalization and quality improvement. I think that the exchange of students and teachers will be effective for both sides,” he said. Yaroslav Bedkovsky, Rector of the University of Business and Management in Warsaw, also expressed his content on the cooperation by emphasizing the possibility of student and teacher exchange. “In this sense, the agreement is important for both Haybusak University and us. It will provide an opportunity of exchange of not only students and teaching staff but also that of study programs. I am confident that the cooperation will be continuous,” he said.
The universities will implement Bachelor’s, Master’s and Postgraduate programs in several specialties of Economics and Humanities in compliance with the European standards. According to Anna Sukiasyan, Head of the Education Quality Assurance Center, internationalization is one of the University’s priorities. “This year we have re-stated our cooperation with Tallinn Medical College. In addition, we cooperate with a number of European universities, such as the Swiss Open University. We find our cooperation with the Center for Foreign Alumni of Medical Profession important, taking into account the fact that one of our graduates is already employed there,” she said.
